The Training and Placement Cell of Akash Group of Institutions plays a pivotal role in shaping students into competent, confident, and industry-ready professionals. The cell is committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry through a well-structured and outcome-oriented approach to training and career development.
A strong emphasis is placed on industry-specific training and certification programs, ensuring that students acquire relevant technical skills, domain knowledge, and professional competencies aligned with current market requirements. Through continuous corporate engagement, recruitment drives, internships, and industry interactions, the cell facilitates meaningful exposure to real-world professional environments.
With a commitment to 100% placement assistance, the cell adopts a structured approach that includes aptitude training, communication and soft-skills development, interview preparedness, resume building, and career guidance. This framework ensures that every student receives personalised support to achieve career aspirations.

Placement Process
1. Eligibility Criteria
Students must have a minimum aggregate percentage in all semesters up to the current one. No active backlogs are allowed during placement drives. Students have to maintain 60% and above in 10th, 12th, and Degree percentage. Specific company requirements (subject specialisation and certifications) must also be met. Percentage criteria is subject to the discretion of the company.
2. Registration Process
Students must register for the placement drive through the institution's Placement Cell within the announced deadline. A valid and updated resume, approved by the Placement Cell, must be submitted.
3. Code of Conduct
Students must attend all pre-placement talks, workshops, and training sessions organised by the Placement Cell. Punctuality and proper formal attire are mandatory during placement drives. Students must maintain professionalism in interactions with recruiters.
4. Placement Opportunities
BBA/MBA – Management roles, sales and marketing, HR, finance, etc.
B.Com – Accounts, banking, finance, auditing, tax consultancy, etc.
BCA/MCA – IT roles such as software development, system administration, and data analysis, etc.
- Each student is allowed to secure ONE job offer through campus placements to ensure fair opportunities for all.

6. Offer Acceptance
Once a student receives an offer letter, they must confirm acceptance within the stipulated time. Students cannot participate in further placement drives after accepting an offer. The Offer Letter or Letter of Intent received must be shared to the Faculty Placement Coordinator and Placement Officer for documentation purpose.
- Each student can strictly have ONE offer letter of TIER A Company & maximum 1 offer letter of TIER B Company.
- TIER A Companies are those whose package is above 3 Lakhs per annum for UG students and above 4.5 LPA for PG students.
- TIER B Companies are either Voice Process, Non-Voice Process, or Marketing companies whose package is less than 3 Lakhs (UG) & less than 4.5 LPA (PG).
- If a student is selected for Finance companies, he/she is allowed to take only 1 offer letter and will not be permitted for any further on-campus drives.
- If selected for Marketing or Voice/Non-Voice, one more Finance related offer may be allowed at the discretion of the Head of Training & Placements.
- The Head of Training & Placement has all rights to inform students not to take up multiple offers, and students must adhere.
- Students can appear for interviews until they get selected.
- If selected in on-campus drive, register your name with the Placement Officer or Faculty Placement Coordinator.
7. Withdrawal Policy
Students who withdraw from the placement process after registering without valid reasons may face penalties, including disqualification from future drives.
8. Training and Skill Development
Regular training sessions for aptitude, communication, interview skills, and domain-specific knowledge will be conducted by the Placement Cell through the Training department. Students must actively participate to enhance employability.
9. Placement Assistance
The Placement Cell guides students in resume building, interview preparation, and networking with alumni. The institution provides opportunities to connect with industry professionals through seminars and workshops.
10. Documents Required
- ID Proof & Address Proof – Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- 10th, 12th, Degree marksheets – all semesters
- Driving License
- Passport size photographs
11. Disqualification
Violation of the placement policy, misconduct, or providing false information to recruiters may result in disqualification from the placement process.

AXA Student Engagement Program
On 18th November 2025, 20 students from the 5th Semester BBA & BCA of Akash Global College of Management & Science participated in a Student Engagement Program hosted by AXA Global Business Services at Manyata Tech Park. The program conducted from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM included sessions delivered by Senior Managers and HR professionals from AXA GBS.

Financial Literacy Workshop
A Financial Literacy Workshop was conducted on 10th November 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for all UG students. The session led by Dr. Sarika R. Lohana, a SEBI-certified subject expert, focused on enhancing participants' understanding of essential financial concepts and responsible financial behaviour.
